Sylvia Elizondo is a Certified Interior Designer with a studio based in Los Angeles, CA. She specializes in interior design projects, renovations, furniture design, space planning, specification services and staging for the residential industry. She also does commercial and hospitality projects.
In her practice of 25 years she has designed interiors for private clients in Mexico as well as the United States. Her work is featured on Houzz and has been published by several media.
Her philosophy is that a harmonious space can empower a person who lives or works in it, so she is dedicated to create beautiful spaces to improve the quality and productivity of life through aesthetics, proportion and balance.
She is a professional member of IIDA, International Interior Design Association, SMI, Sociedad Mexicana de Interioristas and licensed in the State of California #6385.
She's an ex-member of the Editorial Board of the Fashion and Decoration edition “Acentos” of the local newspaper "El Norte" in her hometown Monterrey, Mexico where she also collaborated writing articles about design.
Her extra curricular activities include conferences and design classes to Interior Design students.
SMI honored her with the "Design Excellence Award" in December 2008 and won the Architectural Digest "Best Bathroom Renovation" in September 2013.
